About Lady Keoki Cooper- Anderson

Plant-Based Wellness Advocate

Keoki is a Plant-Based Wellness Advocate who founded Good Ol’ Plants to fulfill what she believes is her God-given purpose — helping others live healthier lives by making mindful, nourishing food choices. She strives daily to walk in the purpose God has designed for her life, inspiring others to do the same by incorporating prayer, scripture, and gradual lifestyle changes that 

encourage consuming more of those good ol’ plants. 

   Keoki has authored two books centered around good ol' plants. Her first, a coloring book titled Give Me Something Sweet to Eat!, was created to encourage children, youth, and adults to make healthier choices when it comes to sweets. Her second book, 21 Days to Your Natural Reset, is a guided wellness journal designed to inspire and support readers in taking small, consistent steps toward natural, sustainable weight loss.  

   

Keoki's story!


       A few years ago, after being told that I was moving in the direction of being prediabetic, I wanted to change the way I ate. Why did I start with food? Well, I knew from previous researching that food has everything to do with health.  I started at 217 pounds on July 16, 2022. Naw, it wasn't easy to start this new health journey. I tell you; I was still eating what I wanted, but at the same time I did not feel content with my weight and what the doctor told me. I knew that until I changed my mind, I wasn't going to see any results. So, that same year, I prayed, thought, and thought some more. I eventually took some time out of my busy schedule and wrote out a plan of action for my health. I decided to hold myself accountable and revised my YouTube channel targeting my own health journey. Eat Mostly Plants! That's my saying.

Naw, what makes my journey unique? Well, being an educator who loves to be creative, I implemented my own style to encourage staying the journey for myself. I felt like my creative ideas could reach others towards eating a little bit healthier.  I hope to motivate others to eating better. I believe that if I coached myself into loosing 42 pounds in less than 9 months naturally, I could also guide others in leading a healthier lifestyle. I could be someone's accountability partner. I could be a help in eating a little bit better. I could motivate within a book to a plate!


      I believe that I can help make an impact in society as a creative Christian Plant- Based Wellness Advocate.
